
Dawn McCarron - Studio Owner, Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer
With a dance background, having danced for many years from a young age well into my teens, the natural progression was to turn to fitness which I have been teaching for 20 years now and every day I get up looking forward to my work with enthusiasm and passion.
My 20 years fitness experience extends from exercise to music (remember those Jane Fonda days and leg warmers?) to personal training and also includes teaching Nordic walking, freestyle fitness yoga (ever so popular with those not looking for a spiritual experience) and Metafit (metabolic fat burning sessions) which is always a winner.
I will be teaching a lot on the timetable but at the same time loving the fact that I can now incorporate some of my favourite and much respected fellow instructors who are as keen as me to teach at New Dawn Fitness. I think you will agree, they have a great deal to offer too so let me introduce them...

Yvette Meredith - Fitness & Yoga Instructor
Yvette is a fully-licensed Fitness Professional with 20 years experience.
She holds International qualifications and can teach many disciplines from Aqua to Zumba!
She is also a qualified Stott Pilates Teacher and Yoga Teacher having done Yoga Teacher Training with Teach Yoga (part of Yoga Alliance), Duncan Wong (Yogic Arts) and David Swenson (Ashtanga). Yvette says: “I love teaching Yoga and the rewards it brings and I am continually developing my knowledge with highly respected Yoga trainers, such as David Swenson, Natasha Rizopoulos, Jason Crandell, Matthew Sweeney, so that I can share as much as I can with my classes.”
“Yoga helps me to look at life with a different perspective and I am more interested in what really matters. I am fascinated by the grounding that Yoga brings and I am equally captivated by the power of inner peace”.
As both a Stott Pilates and a Yoga practitioner, Yvette is influenced by postural alignment, and teaches a dynamic blend of intelligently sequenced and mindful Vinyasa Flow. Her classes are fun, feel-good, relaxed and non-intimidating - giving everyone a chance to unlock their true potential.

Emma Dalton - Dance Instructor
I have always had a love for dance! Tap, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop/Street, Contemporary, Disco and even Line Dancing! I love a challenge when it comes to creating interesting choreography, making a piece look great but mostly ensuring that I am having plenty of fun performing it. This is why I decided to become a Zumba and Just Jhoom! Instructor. These fitness styles not only contain elements of traditional dance, but they allow me to share my passion for different cultures and music with those in my classes. People have always described me as an enthusiastic and energetic person, which is important for any fitness class. I also teach Kids Just Jhoom! and Kids Latin Dance, introducing different cultures to them at a young age but most importantly helping them to love dance the way I do. I recently graduated from Hurtwood House Performing Arts School where I had the honour of becoming Dance Captain for many of their shows as well as doing some choreography for them. Being a massive ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ fan, one of my biggest highlights is dancing with Vincent and Flavia to raise money for my secondary school. Fortunately I wasn’t attempting to do a foxtrot but instead a crazy tap number! Join me in my adult & kids classes...I can't wait to share my passion for dance with you!

Hannah Ayres - Dance Instructor
Hannah started Ballet classes at a young age, finding her love of dance then later started Tap, Modern and Disco. At the age of 16 Hannah auditioned for a 3 year musical theatre course at Pattison Theatre Arts and gained a scholarship. Whilst here Hannah not only took performance exams but gained teaching qualifications from the 6 day a week schedule. After leaving Pattisons Hannah traveled the world as a dancer/performer in various shows in Egypt, Italy, kenya, Amsterdam and all over England performing to a wide range of people from kids to kings!
Now using all of her previious performing experience Hannah puts all her passion into teaching making sure that she keeps on top of the charts so that all of her classes are fresh and funky! She sep up her own dance school a year ago and has over 20 successful classes. Hannah is really looking forward to working at New Dawn Fitness and being part of something so new and special! Clive Bratchell - Yoga Instructor
After 10 years as a self employed gardener Clive was lucky enough to find a local Ashtanga yoga class which helped him heal repeated back twinges from all the digging and weeding. After developing a sound self practice he felt that he wanted to spread the Ashtanga word to as many people as possible and started to teach. This began when friends and family asked him ‘to show them what this yoga thing is about’.
Training with David Swenson, Matthew Sweeny, David Williams, David Sye, Cameron Shane and Michael Kazamias has given Clive an insight into different styles of teaching Ashtanga yoga Primary and Secondary series. And although he has tried many different styles of yoga finds Ashtanga to be the one that works for him and puts the biggest smile on people’s faces when they finish his class.
A class with Clive will be based on the Primary Ashtanga sequence but the odd wacky pose sometimes slips in to jazz things up and add an extra challenge and dimension. Clive is keen to encourage all levels of students and teaches many options to suit the beginner to the more advanced. Clive has relaxed approach to teaching and uses simple language and gentle encouragement to help people focus on their yoga journey.

Marie - Receptionist
I have always had a keen passion for health and beauty and love working out and keeping fit, I am a qualified and fully insured beauty and holistic therapist, with 7 years experience.
Marie has many years experience working in administration, sales, account management and branch manager. I have a passion for good customer service, a strong eye for attention to detail and sharp administartion skills. Keen for a new challenge and to suit my family life Marie then gained qualifications in health and beauty. Marie is personable and is looking forward to being the front person at New Dawn Fitness, getting involved with the team and meeting all it's new clients. See you all soon!
